Questions, answered plainly.
How our long-term approach works, what we invest in, and what to be aware of before you commit capital.
Frequently asked questions
01What does “long term” mean in practice?
We judge our work over a full market cycle, not a quarter. Capital may need to stay invested for many years before an opportunity shows its value, and we expect to hold through periods when prices fall.
02Which areas do you focus on?
Three connected themes: rare earth minerals, financials, and technology. We are most interested in the places where they overlap — the materials, capital, and infrastructure that make long-duration projects possible.
03Why rare earth minerals?
They are essential inputs to electrification, advanced manufacturing, and modern infrastructure, and supply is concentrated in relatively few places. That combination can create durable opportunity, and it also carries real risk.
04What are the key risks I should understand?
The value of an investment can fall as well as rise, and you can lose capital. We concentrate in three themes rather than spreading across everything, so results depend heavily on how those areas perform. Rare earth minerals bring sharp price cycles and policy or trade dependence; financials bring interest rate, credit, and regulatory sensitivity; technology brings rapid displacement and volatile valuations.
05What are the fees and the minimum investment?
Our annual management fee is 2%. The minimum investment with the fund is USD 100,000.
06Is there a guaranteed return?
No. Returns are never guaranteed, past performance is not a guide to future results, and no amount of diversification removes the possibility of loss. Any figure we might share would be an illustration, not a promise.
07Is anything on this site investment advice?
No. The site explains our company and our approach. It is not advice, a recommendation, or an offer to invest. Consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, seek independent professional advice before committing capital.
